Yemen's Houthis have launched a combined attack on US and British naval surface ships in the Red and Arabian Seas.

The attack described by CentCom as complex involved kamikaze drones, naval drones, cruise missiles and a ballistic missile.

According to CentCom, an F-18 fighter jet from the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Dwight Eisenhower and about a dozen other guided-missile destroyers and frigates repelled the attack and reportedly shot down 18 kamikaze drones.
