I Love The Nights

*In my room enjoying the scent of warm coffee.
I hear the screams of victims of the rhythm drug.
The voice of the illusionist telling them words that get them high.
Their screams become louder.
They will return early in the morning, the scent of alcohol closer
to them than their lovers.
The night’s events a fire, the morning only ashes.

In my room wrapped in a blanket.
The man coughs daggers that were buried in his chest.
The woman spits back that end their union.
They had a child, didn’t they?
If the barrier that separates us shouts to me their war,
what crossfire is the child receiving?

In my room next to the window where the night breeze passes by.
The only source of light are the few stars that penetrate the sky.
Thoughts of the nightmare called life keep me awake.
Questions of tomorrow seemingly distant as those of today, right now
make my heart throb.
I lie on my bed and lie to myself. Everything will be okay.
I lie awake, and lie till I sleep.*

THE CREATION OF EARTH

Deep into the heaven's abyss, veiled by the cotton haze
Blue skies and oceans, stretched across the terrain
Verdant wild, where the untamed reside
And creatures of the deep, of the seas,
Erstwhile, she, a treacherous realm.

Voyaging through the pages of the book, 'The Creation of Earth'
She found the secrets hidden in depth ;
The wavering water, the blazing fire,
the motherly earth and the lilac air
And millions of sequins entangled on the shaded space.

Hestia, the goddess of fire ; a fierce being
Illuminated the chasm of the planet blue ; the core
Radiated the vivid yellow beam that reflects on the interstellar, Astraea
She, the most gorgeous soul, adorned with jewels
Gazed upon the creation of the blue star, the Earth.

Gaia, the saint, embraced the fierce soul,
Like a mother who protects her treasured child
With the surface so called, rocky or smooth ;
Amphritite, the water spirit, filled the ocean floors
With tears of joy from her sparkling eyes.

To end, Aether, the soul of air, the invigorator
Bestowed the creatures with life, the greatest treasure
Lush green trees on the grass bed, graced with blossoms
And beasts of the wild, strolling on them,
Quenching water from creeks, the veins of the land.

She is the Earth, she is the mother,
She is the home, the cradle of life
She is the creation of gods; a work of art,
She is the breath of universe,
'And she is the eternal flame of existence'.

In bizarre darkness of a hopeless dreamer,
My heart needs a truthful glimmer.
A soul soothing melodic voice,
Only way to have some joy.
It hurts hard when my heart bleeds,
I won't heal as no one needs,
Losers like me,
Who lives in glee.
My eyes get red,
I lay in bed.
Singing all night long,
My sorrowful song.
