Two official debates will be held - one on the 15th and one on the 23rd. The pirate lord nominees may on those days use the designated post's comments to tell the subscribers why they're the piratiest pirate and their opponents are bilge-suckin' landlubbin' scallwags.

Superhero comics have gone from showcasing super powered persons showing the hero in everyone into full-on fascist propaganda, in that they now place characters whose powers upon simple inspection mimic functions and abilities of state governments, and then deem them fit to give them massive destructive power over the populace, positioning anyone who attempts to put them under any accountability as the villain of that storyline, all while in practice allowing individuals with genocide level kill counts free reign on the basis that "killing makes us no better than them". Modern iterations of the Justice League are probably the best example of this trend.
