He replied, “How can I feel lonely when I am with the Prophet ﷺ and his companions?!” [i.e. his books]

في كل مرة يمسني الضرّ

أنتَ الذي لا يعجزه شيء فتولّني..

يقول ابن رجب:
Ibn Rajab said:

“فالعلم النافع من هذه العلوم كلّها، ضبط نصوص الكتاب والسنة، وفهم معانيها، والتقيّد بالمأثور عن الصحابة والتابعين وتابعيهم في معاني القرآن والحديث…"

"The beneficial knowledge from all of these sciences is precision/ understanding the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah, understanding their meanings, and adhering to what is narrated from the Sahabah, the Tabi’een, and those who followed them regarding the meanings of the Qur’an and the Hadith...”

📚 فضل علم السلف على الخلف ٢٦/٣

الليلة أول محاولات الشيطان فلا تُغلب

غبنٌ أن تصلي البارحة ثلاث ساعات
ثم تُغلب الليلة عن ثلاث ركعات

TAKBEERAT:

1. General - it has 2 legislated timings:

a. The night before Eid (more emphasised for Eid al Fitr) – from the sunset of the last day of Ramadan until the end of the Eid Khutbah
b. The beginning of Dhul Hijjah, from the first night of it until the end of the Eid Khutbah

2. Restricted:

• Recommended to do so after every congregational Fardh prayer
• The time begins from the Fajr of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah until the 13th of Dhul Hijjah
• For the one in the state of Ihram: time begins from dhuhr on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah until the Asr of the 13th of Dhul Hijjah
