2022 has been a rollercoaster of a year, we’ve seen a huge decline in the startup and tech space and an impeding recession. In crypto more specifically, we’ve heard the news of many collapses including FTX, the second largest exchange billions worth of users wallets potentially going to zero.

We think this will have a potential cascading effect in the markets, which makes it difficult to trade safely.

Blokbot was also affected in the market shifts. In addition to this, there was a change in management a few months ago and a downsize in the team leading to slower replies to queries.

We did what we could considering the circumstances and after much thought, we believe it’s best to suspend operations until the market recovers.

There are a small number of users utilising the bots and we’ll communicate with you separately to ensure a safe off-boarding process. We highly suggest all other users who have stopped or paused their accounts to delete unused API keys.

There is a separate group for those who invested with Yahya and he is resolving this personally.

When we belive the market is stabilising and its a good time to re-start the bots and on our new system (in development), we will reach out.

Also, please be wary of people impersonating blokbot during this period of hibernation.

Dear blokbotters,

Just a clarification and notice. There has been an issue with a private trading account that Yahya was managing (Hybrid). This hybrid account is separate to blokbot.

Accounts that joined prior to the issue benefitted and withdrew their funds with ease.

Only a handful of users of blokbot joined the Hybrid trading along with blokbot's own funds and our personal friends and family.

We are fully aware Yahya is dealing with the exchange who froze the account due to unexplainable funds reaching the account. It’s been a long and tiresome process, which is still dragging on.

With blokbot, everyone has control over their Binance and can close trades, start bots and delete API’s at any time.
