??South Africa's ex-president Zuma's party backs down from election dispute case

The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party's legal counsel have given a notice to drop their complaint against the Electoral Commission, which was filed in the Electoral Court on the grounds that the poll was not free and fair.

In a closely contested election, the MK party, founded less than a year ago, emerged as the third-largest in parliament with 58 seats. Initially boycotting the inaugural sitting in protest of Cyril Ramaphosa's victory, MK MPs later took the oath of office.

The African National Congress (ANC), which Zuma previously headed, lost its parliamentary majority for the first time since 1994, receiving 40.18% of the vote and losing certain provincial legislatures. As a result, the ANC established a Government of National Unity with 11 political allies, notably, the MK didn't join the unity.

More than 2,000 people have downloaded the app so far. It's compatible with both iOS and Android, local media outlet the Monitor reported.

The Uganda National Association of the Deaf has added various training videos that learners are using to teach themselves sign language and interact with each other, according to Robert Nkwangu, the organization's executive director.

? "The introduction of the digital sign language application is one of the initiatives we embarked on during our celebrations of 50 years of existence," he was quoted as saying.
