We would love more people to own hens and produce their own eggs.

Like a lot of food production systems that are carried out on a big scale, sadly most of their intentions are about profit and getting a food source into the supermarkets without much care about the nutritional content of it or the welfare of the animals, who are used as commodities.

Ticks and fleas repellent and removal herb blends for cats and dogs

When it comes to cats and dogs, keeping ticks & fleas off them, the 3 most favorable essential oils are cedarwood, rosemary and lemongrass. To apply: do 3 drops total of EO (mixture of all 3 oils- 1 drop of each) to 1 Tlbs carrier oil such as coconut or castor oil - mix well, rub some in hands and then rub on back on the neck area of the pets. If you only have rosemary oil, it is okay to use 3-10 drops of that depending on size of pet.  This oil or the combination of all three together are great when or if they have a tick on them, since you can easily get the tick out intact with pincers as they immediately upon contact with the oil blend/ just Rosemary oil, let go of the bite, without injecting more poisons into the pet and this is best way to slowly pull it out. The tick will still be alive in this case. So always use a tweezer to slowly pull it out, making sure the head doesn't snap off and have a paper towel ready on hand to quickly put the tick in and squish hard quick so it's not a painful end for it (no creature deserves suffering) and it can't jump anywhere in the house and populate with millions of eggs. Also in the papertowel you can later check the size of it. We usually do. All this works for fleas too btw.
