Hey Team ,

Just a quick update from Bangladesh to let you know I'm okay. After 6 long days, we finally have internet service again, although it's just on a trial basis. We're hoping that within 1-2 days, everything will be back to normal and we can fully reconnect. It's been tough being cut off from the outside world.

Recent protests and political tensions over government job quotas have led to significant unrest, with several deaths and many injuries, especially in Dhaka. The government implemented an internet blackout on July 18th, which made communication extremely difficult. Over 1000 students and civilians have been killed and more than 6000 injured by government militant police and RAB. Airstrikes occurred in nearby areas around July 20th, and a curfew is still ongoing. The situation is far from normal, but we are hopeful for improvement.

The bandwidth is still very slow, but hopefully, it will be fixed soon. I know you were all really worried about us, and your concern means a lot to me. The situation is gradually stabilizing, and I can’t wait to catch up with you all soon ?
