Maccarani was accused of abusing girls.

And now, Monza Public Prosecutor's Office has asked for dismissal from charge of mistreatment for Emanuela Maccarani and Olga Tishina (archive).

It will now be up to a Preliminary Investigation Judge to decide whether or not to grant prosecutor's request.

It seems that rhythmic gymnastics is not often mentioned in topic of doping. I can recall from recent ban of Alexandra for simply not giving a doping test 3 times and scandals from 00s with a diuretic (which gymnasts use to lose weight, and not to remove other doping).

So... Sergey Lisin writes that he received one therapeutic use exception for growth hormone from 16 to 18 years from rhythmic gymnastics. Athlete's data is not specified, as is period of her career. Only that she was at World Championship, not from countries of former USSR and before start of treatment, according to author, did not look short or retarded
