[Flabbergasted as Maya was she shouted as she viewed the pictures of her friend on Instagram. Right before her eyes she couldn't believe what she saw. There in the picture was one of her close friends from Grade 9]

Maya:How is this possible? No no it can't be. He led me to knowing Christ better. In fact, he got this book "Songs of the Lamb" for my birthday. That can't be him.
[she asked herself] Was he living a double life all that while?

[Maya kept wondering,she had just seen a picture of her friend in a company of others smoking and drinking. Right there she felt very bad.]

Maya:How could he change. [ Already she had heard rumours that he was gay but she refused to believe. She became teary and remembered an article she once read way back in school...

When we begin to have the drift into drastic personality changes, we tend to lose the ability tender ever to identify our true selves; this leads to further confusion. The fear of rejection which is the extreme drive to be accepted by everyone can causes one of the mighty deeds of God, who knew us to bend to the opinions of men and in turn have different personalities as different people have different opinions. The more we drift to adopt different personalities, the more we tend to be inconsistent even with ourselves till we probably lose the ability to identify the kind of people we are.

Jesus is the rock that cannot be moved and the surest grounds for our stability. It is the more we see Him and exalt Him that we can have a firmer hold of ourselves and walk in consistency and with a firmer grip of our hearts. Where do you stand today?

"Good morning Mr. Newton"

Mr. Newton: Good morning dear ones, before you take your seat I want us to do an activity
[ One by one the students stare at one another wondering what has come over a man as rigorous as Mr. Newton]

Mr. Newton: any volunteers?
[ willingly Mike lifts up his hands]

Mr Newton: Okay class, I am going to blindfold Mike

Mike: Ow wow, that's cool I am in for it

Mr. Newton: Your humourous self is always on the go
[ Class laughs, Mr. Newton blindfolds Mike and begins to give instructions]

Mr. Newton: Okay class, pay attention, I am gonna direct Mike to the cupboard

Mike: Mr. Newton, wait a minute. I remember I stood right in front of the board when you blindfolded me and I sure do remember where the cupboard is. No worries
[ Mike begun to move without any instruction and bumped into one of the tables]

Mike:[yelled] ouuuuuch

Class:[ in chorus] you see

Mr. Newton:[ looks at Mike with an accusing look] Ready to be directed now?

Mike: Yes Sir. I am sorry, I have learnt my lesson
[Mr Newton begins to instruct]

Mr. Newton: Move left, take a right turn, now go straight, careful, now stop.
[Arriving at the cupboard, class applauds]

Mr. Newton: Class direction is key in life, direction by the Holy Spirit. The most difficult phenomenon is to be lost yet many are.10 days already into the year. How fast time flies! Where does your direction lie? You should receive inspired direction and purpose from the Holy Spirit. Your direction in life should be the most valuable thing. You 're supposed to be at the right place, at the right time doing the right thing that God has ordained for you. Don't be like those who just live away in the moment. Have a divine plan and direction. Now the question is how? You must learn to activate the divine and inspired direction in your life by submitting to the Holy Ghost, meditating and declaring. This is a spiritual exercise you must intentionally engage yourself in to activate the direction in your life. Look class remember to always do this.

Mr. Newton: Mike, you can take the blindfold off now. Sit down everyone, back to business

Class:[ they begin to groan]

Mr. Newton: Now what was the last thing we did? Where is my assignment?

Stacey: Jason, I am so excited that we are going to Uncle Blay's. It's been almost a year.

Jason:You know, I can't wait for him to shower us with His love and cook my favourite meal so well as he always does.

If for instance it happens that I only see my Bible on Sundays, I shouldn't expect to know or even remember scripture. Talk about prayer, you can't go days, weeks and even months without prayer and expect to hear from God. You begin to have periodic encounters with Him.So Jason that 's exactly what's happening. I can't remember all your likes or allergies because it's been a year. But don't worry, we will spend days together and bond again .

Stacey and Jason:[ they laugh] At least the good thing is I have learnt something.

Young Ancient,do you talk to God when you only need Him? How often do you grow your relationship with God? You do away with periodic encounters when you're consistent with Jesus. Always remember that praying only when there is a problem is a problem.

PRAYER
Lord, I am consistent in all I do for you . I refuse to be distracted. My relationship with you is ever forward. I don't have or experience periodic encounters. I am ever on the go for you Jesus. Amen

Damn!
I looked at her beautiful face as I continued to kiss her
