A Little Church History that's not Discussed:

Not only were the Puritans involved in the murdering of hundred of supposed Witches but the predominant sect of Christianity within the Colonies was Calvinism and Calvinist were also involved deeming those suspected of Witchcraft being demonically possesses. Both Puritans Calvinist were murderous sects in our national history during this time. Most if not all that were accused of being either a Witch or Warlock were actually innocent of all charges because even what's now known as Holistic Naturopathy and Herbalist then was labeled as Witchcraft. Drummed up false charges got you put to death in those times. There was no such thing as cellphones and modern forms of instant access to important information, nor were the court rooms of that time even remotely ran like they are now (even today we have much better management). Thankfully the ravenous fever of suspecting everyone and everybody to be a Witch of some sorts died off. The gripping effects still live on today.
