Joker: Folie à deux

8/10, good music, a bit slow, but great ending. Worth a rewatch.

I was not familiar with Lady Gaga as an actress but I'm pleasantly surprised. Joaquin is a good singer too, really nice.

I respect Todd Phillips for making a sequel where Joker is bi, sings with Lady Gaga in a musical and is blatantly not the example to follow. Of course redditors will inhale gargantuan amounts of copium to try and salvage the edgelord personality they got from the first film.

And the ending is bold, killing the Joker on screen without the shadow of a doubt and setting up the actual Joker at the same time was a great move. It gives an origin to such an iconic part of the character (the scars) it needed such a long set-up.

Good film, if not a bit heavy. I don't think I'll watch it again soon but I wouldn't mind doing it.
