It turns out that humans and cows can have some pretty serious disagreements.

Such a problem has appeared in several regions of France. The point is that city dwellers who move to the countryside in search of peace and quiet are very unhappy that silence is not always achievable. It's all the fault of the native villagers - or rather, the very cows these villagers keep. The animals moo loudly and don't always smell nice, and this is a major annoyance to the townspeople who have moved to the villages. The police used to get knocked down responding to all these noise and disturbance complaints. Fortunately, this is now a thing of the past.

A new law has come out that makes it illegal to complain about neighbours whose farm animals make noises and smells that are peculiar to their nature. Eric Dupont-Moretti, the French Minister of Justice, said that city dwellers moving to the countryside have no right to demand that everyone around them change their routine and ban their cows from mooing and smelling.
