Abū Dharr said: “Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) left us, and there was not a bird that flapped its wings in the air except that he gave us some knowledge concerning it.”

Then he narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There does not remain anything that brings one closer to Jannah or distances one from the Fire except that it has been explained to you.”

It is not inconceivable for a Muslim to imagine that the Messenger (ﷺ) would teach his Ummah the minutest details of purification and worship yet he left us without guidance concerning the severe oppression at the hands of the unbelievers before the Hour.
