Google is teaming up with Theta Labs in a move meant to help the video delivery network onboard users through Google Cloud.

As part of the partnership, the tech giant is assisting Theta with its Mainnet 2.0 launch, a hard fork happening around noon Pacific time on Wednesday, 03.06.2020.

Google will become the protocol’s fifth external validator node. Theta Labs is staking 5 million THETA tokens (worth about $2.4 million at a price of $0.48 each) for Google on the network.

Comments: I observe very good purchases, the volume on Binance is still weak. Practice shows that GXS is the most natural pump asset, and if we see purchases of it, most likely it means that we are waiting for a pump or a series of pumps.

It often happens that before a powerful pump for this asset there is a series of short working outs of the long positions, so buy in the provided levels and sell with 5-6% profit then place buy orders again.

I don’t see any fundamental interest, but obviously the project does not stand still, since it was added to Savings tool as a fixed deposit on Binance, and more recently the GXS/USDT trading pair appeared.

The Bitcoin trade is now legalized in South Korea.

South Korea's parliament (National Assembly) voted for the country's first cryptocurrency legislation.

The amended Law on Special Financial Information, which was approved by the financial committee of the National Assembly in November last year, will in fact create the basis for the country's cryptocurrency industry.

The bill, which will enter into force in March 2021, will also introduce a cryptocurrency taxation system and recommendations on conducting transactions for banks involved in crypto-exchange will be consolidated. This is likely to put an end to anonymous trading in the country.

A number of cryptocurrency news apps have been removed from the Google Play Store, including the Cointelegraph and CoinDesk.

This is not the first time that the Play Store has set its sights on crypto. Near the end of December, the store took down an app for MetaMask.

The Google Play store had also previously banned several crypto mining apps.
