1️⃣ The Council of Europe is organising a photo and video competition to promote human rights. The competition is open to non-professional photographers up to age 26. The themes and message conveyed in the project must be relevant to the subject of human rights in Europe. The deadline is July 31. More information HERE.

2️⃣ The Gender Just Climate Solutions Awards are accepting applications from grassroots, community groups and non-governmental organisations tackling the climate emergency while advancing gender equality. Applicants should submit projects in one of three categories: women’s rights and gender equality, climate resilience and scaling-up and transfer. Deadline is July 21. More information HERE.

3️⃣ The CIVICUS Monitor Team is looking for an Civil Space Research Intern. Requirements are pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science or a related field, fluency in English and knowledge on conducting research on human rights. 4️⃣ The podcast “A Chat in the Yurt” interviewed Central Asia Barometer director Kasiet Ysmanova and research fellow Albina Yun to discuss their recent report on "How to support survivors of domestic violence in rural Kyrgyzstan better?" A recording of the podcast can be found HERE.

5️⃣ The Sociology Department at Umea University is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher. The employee will be part of the project “#NeverForget vs. #NeverHappened: Holocaust Commemoration and Contestation on Social Media” and will be based in Umea, Sweden. The requirements are a master’s or PhD degree in law, human rights, social policy or a related field, plus fluency in English and five years of relevant work experience in human rights/social policy. 2️⃣ Europe Access Now is seeking a Policy & Advocacy Manager. Requirements are five years of relevant work and management experience, knowledge of EU institutions, fluency in English and a bachelor or master degree in law, social sciences or a similar field. 3️⃣ The Eastern Partnership Youth Climate Leadership School is accepting applications for its online webinars to deepen your understanding of critical topics at COP29 and apply for a fully-funded trip to Baku, where it will be hosted. Register HERE.

4️⃣ The Chatham House Russia and Eurasia Programme is accepting research proposals for a ten month fellowship in London. The applicants should be in the early to mid stages of their careers and want to develop their leadership skills and thematic knowledge. 1️⃣ World Forum for Democracy is inviting applications for the Youth Delegation. This year’s Forum is devoted to the topic of Democracy and Diversity and will take place in Strasbourg, France, 4-8 November. To participate in the youth delegation, applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old and involved in organisations working with young people on issues of democracy and diversity. Travel, accommodation and visa expenses will be covered by the organisers. The call for applications closes on 30 June. More information HERE.

2️⃣ Human Rights Watch is seeking a Kenneth Roth Practitioner-In-Residence. The opportunity aims to support emerging or established national leaders in the human rights movement. The successful candidate will be placed in the Programme or Advocacy departments and work closely on a project around a priority area of work. 3️⃣ The Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University is accepting applications for the Human Rights Advocates Programme. The programme is based in New York City and includes academic coursework, faculty mentoring, skills-building workshops, networking and a trip to Washington, D.C. 4️⃣ ILGA Europe is organising a series of webinars on security for LGBTI activists. The webinars will cover risk management, physical event security and data protection. They will start on 10 July and are targeted at groups and organisations in Europe and Central Asia at the beginning of their path or with limited resources for security expertise. 5️⃣ The Kari Howard Fund for Narrative Journalism and the International Women’s Media Foundation are offering grants for female and non-binary print journalists. 4️⃣ Команда Without Prejudice проводит набор в группу психологической поддержки для журналистов. 1️⃣ The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is looking for a National Society Development Delegate in Yerevan, Armenia. The role requires a relevant university degree, at least three to five years of experience and fluent English. Knowledge of Russian and experience in fundraising is preferred. 2️⃣ The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Programme Management Officer. An advanced university degree in development or environmental studies or similar field and five years of relevant professional experience is required. 5️⃣ The Council of Europe has launched a new online course “International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights”. The content of the course addresses the issue of human rights law application during the armed conflict.
