✒ Beautiful | Shaykh-ul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah Raḥimahullāh said:

• Whoever worships Allāh upon love only then he is a heretic,

• Whoever worships Allāh upon fear only then he is a Khārijee,

• Whoever worships Allāh upon hope only then he is a Murjī,

• & Whoever worships Allāh upon love, fear and hope then he is a Muwaḥḥid believer !!

Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymīyyah رحمه الله said:

"Whoever thinks that he can take from the Book and the Sunnah, without taking the Companions as an example and follows other than their path, then he is from the people of innovation."

Hasan al-Basari said:

‎“O son of Adam, place your foot on the earth and realize that it will soon be your grave.”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

"Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise, and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little."

"They are the enemies so beware of them" [63:4]

During trials and fitan, hypocrites surface and become known. An opportunity to know and beware of them.

Shaykh Ahmad Jibril حفظه الله

Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“I heard Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله say about Zūhd and Warā :

Zūhd is to leave alone those things which will not benefit you in the next life. And Warā (piety) is to leave the things you fear might harm you in the next life.”

{ Purify my heart | 78-79 }

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“He values the watchfulness of other members of the creation with his entire heart and every limb. He shies away from the people but does not shy away from Allāh.”

وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ

And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.

{ سورة الطلاق ❁ ٢-٣ }

Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah):

And when a person commits a sin it is due to a decrease in his worship of Allah (and the opposite is true).
