It’s time for Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot (Oxford IP Moot)! ?

Oxford IP Moot is held annually in March, uniting students from numerous universities in their passion for the intellectual property law. The case is usually released in the beginning of October, and the teams are admitted to the International Oral Rounds upon successful qualification from the Written Rounds in January.

Event details:
? Location: Oxford, England
? Dates: 19-22 March  2025
? Teams: Generally 2-3 members per team

The successful journey of the Ukrainian team began two years ago, when in 2023 the girls were first to ever qualify for the international oral rounds and represented Ukraine in Oxford, they returned in 2024 and consolidated their success. ?

Our experienced mooters are ready to take on the role of coaches and assemble a true dream team:

? Anastasiia Tolkachova
➖ graduate of the Institute of Law, Intellectual Property master’s program
➖ participant in the Oxford International IP Moot Court Competition in 2023 and 2024, as well as in national IP moots during her early academic years
➖ works at the IP Office

? Anna Tkachuk
➖ has competed in the Price Moot three times and the Oxford IP Moot twice over the past four years
➖ holds a master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law
➖ part of the IP Academy of IP Office

‼️ We’re looking for you if you:
➖ are fluent in English
➖ have excellent writing and oral skills
➖ have basic knowledge in IP Law
➖ are ready to dedicate time and effort to achieve the great results

Students of the Institute of Law and the Institute of International Relations won the Regional Round of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition held in Lisbon for the first time. ??

Winning team members:
-Yuliia Bulenok (first-year master student of the Institute of International Relations)
-Oleksandra Mykhailova (3rd year student of the Institute of Law)
-Yelyzaveta Pohrebniak (4th year student of the Institute of International Relations)
-Maksym Mykytiuk (3rd year student of the Institute of International Relations)

The team's coaches are graduates of the Institute of International Relations and participants of the WTO Law Moot Court:
-Oleksandra Sandul
-Tetiana Tanchyn

This victory is historic for the KNU - for the first time in the history of the competition, the team won in 4 nominations at once: ??
- Best written part (overall)
- Best written part (Respondent)
- Best speaker of the semi-finals - Yulia Bulenok
- Winners of the Regional Round

This year, 10 teams took part in the Regional Round in Lisbon.

With the team's victory, the next stage is Geneva, where the team will compete with 23 other best teams in the world.

We congratulate the team and coaches and wish them success at the final stage of the competition in Geneva! ??
