**The One Who Trusts Allāh**

The One Who Trusts Allāh

Imām As-Sa'dī [رحمه الله] said:

He who places his trust in Allāh is strong in heart. He is not affected by whims nor does he become disgruntled by [unfortunate] situations.

Leadership in movements must be carefully structured, balancing authority with flexibility to allow the group to operate smoothly and effectively.

These matters are sensitive and deeply detailed when it comes to movements. A wise leader knows when to take charge and when to trust his commanders and members to act in the best interest of the group. Without this balance, movements face internal collapse long before external threats can harm them.

⚔️ Important Lessons Concerning Leadership
🖊️ Abu Mus'ab as-Suri
Part 1

📜 Decisions and Consultation

Cowardice in decision-making is far worse than cowardice on the battlefield. A leader must have the courage to make difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions for the greater good. The Prophet ﷺ exemplified this during the Treaty of Al-Hudaybiyah when he made a truce despite the strong opposition of his companions. If they could have changed his decision, they would have, but he remained firm because he understood the long-term benefit. This teaches that true leadership requires wisdom, firmness, and decisiveness, even in the face of pressure.

Likewise, Khalid ibn al-Waleed (رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ) demonstrated strategic brilliance during the Battle of Yarmuk. Despite having nearly conquered Syria, he recognized the need to withdraw when the Romans returned with a massive army. He retreated over 300 kilometers, leaving behind territories he had turned into Dar al-Islam, knowing that holding them without sufficient defense would lead to greater harm. His decision was not a sign of weakness but of deep military insight.

Khalid's responsibility was further shown when he returned the jizyah to the people of Homs, admitting he could no longer protect them. This act of fairness led many Christians to embrace Islam, seeing the justice of Islamic leadership. Later, Khalid regrouped, chose the battlefield himself, and decisively defeated the Roman Empire, advancing as far as Constantinople and reclaiming all previously abandoned lands.

Leadership does not require explaining every decision to the masses. The proper structure is that the general public follows their notables—such as Ahl al-Madinah, the Muhajireen, and the Ansar—the notables follow the leaders, and the leaders follow the Amir. If the Amir is chosen with sound belief, experience, and a solid history, his decisions must be trusted.

However, problems arise when leadership is handed to unqualified individuals. The GIA in Algeria chose Abu Abdurahman Amin—a chicken butcher—as their leader, and he inflicted brutality on Muslims, reflecting his unsuitability. This failure wasn’t due to the limits of consultation but due to corrupt leadership choices. In contrast, Dr. Abu Khalil Mahfudh had a deep history in the Islamic movement, participated in jihad, and organized guerrilla cells in Algeria. Yet, he was removed and replaced by an unqualified leader, leading to disastrous consequences. The issue wasn’t in the Shariah rules but in choosing the wrong leader.

Even a qualified leader can make mistakes. If a leader continuously fails, he will naturally lose his position. This is similar to someone who repeatedly fails in marriage and eventually loses the chance to build a household. This outcome is part of their destined path.

A leader must be bold and decisive. Authority must be given to a leader with the right religious foundation, experience, and history. However, leadership must also be balanced. A commander in the field, if cut off from the general leadership, must have the authority to make decisions when necessary. Failure to act can bring harm, and often, the blame lies with a leader who punishes field commanders for using their authority in urgent situations.

On the other hand, there are leaders who become overly controlling—wanting to make every decision, whether it’s about the battlefield, the kitchen, or even trivial matters like organizing football matches. This suffocates the movement. When leaders kill initiative and prevent others from making decisions, it weakens the entire group. Members operate in fear, constantly watching their backs, afraid to act.

Such extreme centralization of power is dangerous. It creates an atmosphere of fear and stagnation, preventing growth and adaptability. Effective leadership requires trust in others, delegation of responsibilities, and empowering capable individuals to make decisions within their roles. ......

May Allah swt help you oh …

May Allah swt help you oh Mujahid!!!

Allah's help and support is for the struggling fighter.
According to his worship and repentance to his Lord in times of prosperity
Before the great battle
As he prepares his body and equipment for the Day of Judgment
He must prepare his soul too.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Recognize and acknowledge Allah in times of ease and prosperity, and He will remember you in times of adversity.

The believer is tested to feel …

The believer is tested to feel the meanings of faith, and if closeness to Allah could be achieved without testing, Allah would not test a man who says, "My Lord is Allah." The believer is dear to Allah.

But this is a fleeting world in which we are just passersby, eating, drinking, worshipping our Lord, and awaiting our appointed times. There is no life but the life of the Hereafter, and no happiness but the happiness of Paradise.

In the hadith the Prophet ﷺ said "On the Day of Resurrection, when the people of affliction are given their reward, the people of health will wish that their skins had been cut with scissors in this world."

Be assured that this religion will …

Be assured that this religion will be victorious - God willing - with or without you.

So stick to your position that Allah swt has entrusted you with, and make sure this world is your least concern, and make your motto “Is religion being removed from this land while I am alive...! No, by my Lord.”

All the enemies are united upon …

All the enemies are united upon one path when it comes to butchering muslims and waging war against islam. They are trying their best to win a battle that Allah swt have promised victory for the muslims in the end. If your sincere in your words and deeds you will truly taste the sweetness of success after going through trials so that only those who are truthful remain steadfast.

Al-Baqarah 2:214

Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the Help of Allah?" Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allah is near!.

?It reminds Us the verses of surah burūj

[Surah Al-Burūj: 4,5,6,7,8,9,10]

{ قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ }

Cursed were the people of the Ditch (in the story of the Boy and the King).

{ ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ }

Of fire fed with fuel,

{ إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ }

When they sat by it (fire),

{ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ }

And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them).

{ وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ }

And they had no fault except that they believed in Allâh, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise!

{ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ }

To Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allâh is Witness over everything.

{ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ }

Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance (to Allâh), then they will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire.
