I think one thing Protestants get wrong is the ardent love in which God has for sinners. This is a bit explainable through their denial (and sometimes pure hatred) of great sinners turned Saints, such as Mary Magdalene.

They will say that God is merciful, but then deny that certain people cannot be saved because their sins were too shameful, too embarrassing. This is not surprising because at it's core, Protestantism is not founded on the mercy of God but rather the Pharisee spirit of which they reject sound guidance, authority, and council, in preference of their own theologians and 'professors of morality', completely splitting themselves off from the message of Christ and the importance of two things: redemption and total forgiveness.

Protestantism is so fixed on supposed 'righteousness' that it forgets how important humility and repentance is for the soul; completely being ignorant, willingly or not, by our fallen nature, and how we continually need the grace of God to keep the faith within our hearts alive.

Context: this is a respectful memorial for the victims of 9/11.

This is my opinion but I feel as if it's the most prudent; many people lost their lives that day and it is not a tragedy to make fun of or commemorate. Instead of posting something edgy, it was more edifying to post something more gentle and reflective. Our Lady is definitely with those who unfortunately lost their lives that day and those who had survived.

Perhaps this is a bit personal...but whenever someone speaks of an abortion, I am always hollowed. These little babies are not just numbers, but rather innocent children who never got a chance at life. Considering the value that God places on each single individual soul, to imagine just one aborted baby is...painful.

The victim here is not the mother. It's the tiny baby. Please pray that the baby may find peace. The name was never revealed but surely God has one for them. ?
