Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We come before you with humble hearts, seeking your prayers for our beloved Franciscan Friar, Brother David. In this time of need, we ask that you lift him up in prayer for healing and comfort. May God, in His infinite mercy, grant him peace and strength, restoring his body, mind, and spirit according to His will.

If it is not God's will for Brother David to be healed, we pray that He may grant him a peaceful and gentle departure. May his transition be surrounded by love, grace, and the assurance of eternal life with the Lord.

We place Brother David in the hands of our loving Father, trusting that His will shall be done. May we all find comfort in the knowledge that God's plan is perfect, and that He walks with us through every trial.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer Request: Please pray for my student. She is Muslim and she is scared because she thinks she saw a demon in her mom's room and she started crying for a long time. Pray that Jesus can come and heal her and her family. Thank you and Amen

Daily Prayer for Persecuted Catholics and Growth in Faith

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of compassion and faith.
We pray for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their Catholic faith,
especially those living in war-torn regions.
Grant them courage, strength, and unwavering hope.
Protect them under Your wings,
and let their suffering be a testimony of Your enduring love.

Lord Jesus,
Help us to become better Catholics,
rooted in love, humility, and truth.
Guide our actions to reflect Your teachings,
and inspire us to stand in solidarity with those who are oppressed.
Through prayer, charity, and unity,
may we bring light to the darkest corners of the world.

Holy Spirit,
Fill our hearts with wisdom and perseverance.
Empower us to defend our faith with gentleness and respect,
to live as faithful witnesses to the Gospel,
and to grow ever closer to You through the sacraments.

Mary, Queen of Peace,
intercede for all who are suffering,

I think one thing Protestants get wrong is the ardent love in which God has for sinners. This is a bit explainable through their denial (and sometimes pure hatred) of great sinners turned Saints, such as Mary Magdalene.

They will say that God is merciful, but then deny that certain people cannot be saved because their sins were too shameful, too embarrassing. This is not surprising because at it's core, Protestantism is not founded on the mercy of God but rather the Pharisee spirit of which they reject sound guidance, authority, and council, in preference of their own theologians and 'professors of morality', completely splitting themselves off from the message of Christ and the importance of two things: redemption and total forgiveness.

Protestantism is so fixed on supposed 'righteousness' that it forgets how important humility and repentance is for the soul; completely being ignorant, willingly or not, by our fallen nature, and how we continually need the grace of God to keep the faith within our hearts alive.
