Recent changes and uncertainty have led to an unprecedented lack of trust in management, be it RTO, surveillance of attendance and productivity, removal of benefits such as international working, closure of branches, or confusing decisions on performance reviews. We all see a greater necessity for a legal body of employees like the Works Council to oversee management’s decisions.

? We re-introduce ourselves as Worker Heroes. We are the initiators of the Works Council Election, dedicated and committed to a long-term success of the Works Council.

Update - electoral board
Hi everyone!
On the behalf of the electoral board I want to let you all know that we have picked up our tasks. For transparency we want to keep you in the loop as much as possible. Our first major milestone is to organize and attend a training session in order to be able to prepare and conduct the election in accordance with the law.

At the same time we want to be able to provide you with accurate information and support you throughout the election process.
You can reach out to us via slack (name changed to #dh-woco-election), email ([email protected]) and for those who feel more comfortable also via the proton email ([email protected]) which however is not an official comms channel of the electoral board.

P.S. The employer is obliged to assure you can participate in the election (during working hours). As Ana announced in her Workplace post (<-- thank you for that) make sure you have notified your manager/teams and make sure to comply with the Delivery Hero Code of Conduct.

REMINDER! ELECTION OF THE ELECTION BOARD

We are excited to see you tomorrow at 10AM at Estrel Congress Center (ECC) for the election of the electoral board.

If you are only seeing this on Monday it's not too late to still participate!

We will not be able to admit latecomers while voting is in progress. If you arrive while a vote is being held, please wait and you can be admitted after the vote is concluded and then you will be able to participate in the next round.

PLEASE NOTE: by law requirements this is the only mandatory in-person meeting so it's one of a kind and a good opportunity to exercise your rights as an eligible employee. First step into your co-determination!

BRING: Your company ID and a pen (just in case).

Attached you can find two maps so you can find the big convention hall 1 with ease! The ECC is just 7 minutes walking distance from S-Bahn Sonnnenallee.

This morning we posted notice to employees of Delivery Hero SE of the first step to create a works council: our intent to elect an election board!

The company meeting will be held on the 19th of February, 2024 at 10:00 in the Estrel Congress Center (ECC) Convention Hall I, Sonnenallee 225, 12057, Berlin.

This first meeting is only to elect a board who will be responsible for running the actual election of the Works Council at a later date. Your attendance is highly encouraged and and participation in this meeting will count as working time.
