In 2011 this exchange was hacked, about 25000 BTC were stolen, and then in 2014 the exchange announced the loss of 850000 BTC, in the same year the exchange declared bankruptcy, some time later 200000 BTC were found on the wallet of the exchange.

The lawsuits have been going on since 2018 to this day. So how does the 2011 hack affect today's market? It's all about the fact that MtGox today once again announced that in July it is going to pay out 142,000 BTC, as a consequence it is expected that most of these funds will be sold.

? The second reason - this morning Turkish exchange BtcTurk was hacked, the exact amount of losses is still unknown, but analysts have confirmed the theft of $2 million $AVAX (~$54 million), which was sold on the market through several crypto exchanges.

? These 2 news spooked the market and many went to fix portfolios, because the fall is expected to be even greater.
