We are asking for continued prayers for Salias please. Late last night, we had a very scary event and almost lost him. 

He woke up around 12 am crying. He seemed like he was going to throw up. I went to try and give him his medicine, and before I could, he couldn't breathe and turned completely blue for  probably over 2 minutes. Chest stimulation wasn't working nor was blowing in his face. I ended up starting CPR and gave him rescue breaths.

As soon as he started breathing again, maybe 5-10 seconds later, he had more complied episodes of turning blue and not breathing. Finally got him breathing again and was able to calm him down, but man oh man were we terrified.

Bryan was dialing 911 during all of this. Thankfully, we didn't have to go to the hospital, but this is beyond scary still. They will just run generic tests, say they can't find anything wrong and send us home. We are still waiting for the specialists from Cleveland Clinic/Rainbow babies to get us in.

Ironically, the hospital called me yesterday asking for consent to publish a case study on Salias with his postcricoid cushion - the protruding "mass" in the back of his throat that might be cutting off his airway when it expands.

The hosptial and his pulminologist want to do a case report as there are less than 50 cases reported and with it being so rare they want to add his case to the reports in hopes to help others some time. I said that is great and all, but how helpful will it be when we ourselves still do not have answers as to what is goingbon and how that mass is affecting him. He is still having issues.

His response was "I get that but thankfully he hasn't needed to be admitted anymore from it" I simply told him he probably should have been but it seems they won't do anything more there for him than I can do at home. Once I get him breathing again, he seems fine until the next event, which are completely random. He said he gets that.

Dear Lord, please give us some answers and solutions. We're tired.
