Naqsh-e Rostam is one of Iran's most important ancient sites, located near Marvdasht and Persepolis in Fars province. The complex includes the tombs of Achaemenid kings such as Darius the Great, Xerxes I, Artaxerxes I, and Darius II, all carved into the cliffs. There are also impressive Sassanian rock reliefs depicting royal coronations and historical battles.

This historical site demonstrates the pinnacle of stone carving and the grandeur of ancient Iranian empires. Naqsh-e Rostam is not only the resting place of great Achaemenid kings but also a testament to the magnificence of Iran’s cultural and historical heritage.
