Rajkummar Rao delivers a stellar performance, especially in emotional outburst scenes [ His scenes with Kumud Mishra & Last 20 mins where he had several monologues with Jhanvi Kapoor are very impactful ] . He brilliantly portrays the complex shades of his character, including his moments of selfishness and inner turmoil.

Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand delivers a Superlative performance . She beautifully captures the innocence of her character and impresses with her portrayal of a cricketer on screen. [ She shines the most in a particular scene when she got to know the reality behind Rajkummar Support for her ]

Sharan Sharma Direction is fair, he shines in its depiction of drama and emotions. However he falls short in terms of novelty in story telling , as he followed a well-worn path seen in many sports dramas. The story is somewhat routine, and the approach to showcasing the sport lacks freshness.

The first half of the film is slow-paced, which might test the audience's patience. Despite these drawbacks, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi redeems itself in the last 20 minutes with a strong and inspirational climax, good music, and exceptional performances by the cast, including Kumud Mishra.

Overall Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is a good watch which is backed by strong emotional drama and the standout performances. While it might not bring anything new to the sports drama genre, it has the potential to do well at the box office.

#Jyothika and #SharadKelkar lent a very good support with their fine performances.

However climax, featuring a powerful monologue by Rajkummar, ends the film on a high note, effectively overpowering these shortcomings.

Srikanth’s birth scene, Papa Kehte Hai Background Score, Airport Scene when Srikant heads to USA for his MIT admission and monologue in the climax are the MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS.
