Dearest sisters, what is the benefit of posting pictures of yourself wearing the Niqāb? It’s truly saddening to see what social media is doing to some of our beloved sisters, to the point that even practicing sisters no longer feel any shyness in posting their pictures.

Remember, wearing the Niqab is an act of Ibaadah and must be done for Allah’s sake, not for attention.

Keep your Ibaadah free from Riyaa (showing off), as the Prophet ﷺ said it is a form of minor shirk.

‏سيبقى الحرام حرام حتى لو ارتكبه كل الناس
h‌arām will always be h‌arām even if all people commit it

الحجاب فرض حتى لو خلعوه جميع النساء وسيظل فرض
h‌ijāb were to remain obligatory even if all women were to remove it

الموت حق ولو نسيه كل الأحياء
death remains true even if the living forget about it

باب التوبة مفتوح ولو عاد العــبد إلى المعصيه الف مرة
and the door of tawbah remains open even if the servant regresses back to his sin a thousand times.
