Sayydul Astaghfaar

«اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ»

“O Allāh! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I knowledge my sins, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except you.”

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رَحِمَهُ الله, when listing the benefits of dhikr (remembrance of Allāh), including praying for forgiveness (i.e., Istighfār)

I saw wonders in the strength of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah in walking, speech, courage and writing.

He used to write in one day what a scribe would write in a week, or more. The troops saw his amazing strength in war.

If you see someone happy, pray that Allāh always keeps them like that, even if you're going through a rough time.

You don't know the breakdowns, sleepless nights and tears they hide. The pain behind their smiles.

So don't envy and keep your heart away from jealousy.

?Plant Trees in Jannah?

Abu Hurayrah (radiyAllahu ‘anh)  narrated:

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) **passed by him while he was planting a plant.

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said,**

“O Abu Hurayrah what are you planting?”

I said: A plant for me.

He said: Would you like me to tell of a plant better than this?

I said: Of course, O Messenger of Allah.
He (sallAllahu ʿalayhi wa ’aalihi wa sallam) said,
**Say:
SubhanAllah and
Ahamdulillah and
La ilaha illAllah, and
Allahu Akbar

for each one a tree will be planted for you in Paradise.**

Ibn al-Qayyim رَحِمَهُ الله —

“Dhikr (Remembrance) of Allāh whips Shayṭān and hurts and tortures him like the whipping of rods...”
