The persecution complex / inferiority complex / identity crisis of a sanatana fool is unrivalled

Fact: Reservations are NOT a poverty-alleviation scheme. There are other policies to deal with poverty.

Reservation is for ensuring a proper representation of the under-represented & marginalized communities (the so-called lower-caste masses: STs/adivasis, SCs/dalits and OBCs… who are the vast majority of the population, altogether forming at least 85% of the population). This is not directly related to individual financial status, but rather related to caste identity/status which is the basis of caste discrimination as well as the basis of social capital and other generational privileges etc.

Privileged castes have no right to decide how reservations should be implemented etc. Your communities are already overrepresented in (especially higher) education, bureaucracy, private sector (especially corporate)...

If you don't get the seat in your desired university, or if you don't get your desired job, it's not because of reservations. It's because there are not enough universities, not enough jobs, etc.

Demand for more jobs, demand for more educational infrastructure (universities etc) instead of just whining about the reservations. It's what the ruling class wants: they want you to fight against the rights of the marginalized/oppressed masses so that you won't raise any questions against the ruling class on the lack of sufficient employment and educational opportunities, etc.

August, 1990: The government declared that OBC reservations will be implemented (based on the Mandal Commission report of 1980)

September, 1990: BJP-RSS begin the Ram Rata Yatra (Ram janmabhoomi movement)

Coincidence? Guess not.
