"When I knew he had died, I started looking for a place where I could cry alone."
'Umar Ibn al-Khattāb رضى الله عنه after the death of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم
We don’t ally with or befriend kuffar. It doesn’t matter how much they hate Jews and homosexuals. They still disbelieve in Allah, which renders anything else they say or do useless. No more of this “united against a common enemy” nonsense. Tawhid comes…
To see your friends and family evolve and get closer to Allah is really the most beautiful thing one can witness. The happiness you get from seeing them learn a new sunnah, a new ruling or a new ayah, when you see them slowly starting to understand, wAllahi it’s an indescribable feeling.
Yes, it does take a lot of patience, discussions and tears, sometimes you may even feel like giving up.
You can think why do they not listen? Why do they not take heed? Am I in the wrong? But know that Allah has guided people who did the worst of things, even people who harmed the Prophet ﷺ, so do not give up on His Rahmah.
Wallahi, I speak from experience, in the end it will all be worth it. Every single du’a, conversation and hardship, everything is going to be worth it in the end.
It is hard and it can seem impossible at first, but du’a, sabr and tawakkul will get you through it.
Either you will be able to witness it in this world, or it will help you in the next. Your hard work is going to be paid off In shaa Allah.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ٥
So, surely with hardship comes ease.
[94:5]
May Allah guide us and keep us firm on the straight path, and may He reunite us in al-Firdaws with our loved ones. Ameen.
“One day Umar Stood up to deliver a sermon; in it, he said,
‘O people, whoever among you sees any crookedness in me in my character, my deals, my action, then let him straighten out that crookedness.’
A man from the audience called out, ‘by Allaah, were we to see any crookedness in you, we would have straightened it out with our swords.’
Umar then said: ‘All praise is for Allaah, who has placed in this nation someone who will straighten the crookedness of Umar with his sword.’”
Akhbaar Umar (pg 231,232) and Ar-Riyaadh an Nadirah.
Todays Murjiah / Madkhalis would say this man is a khariji because he spoke up against the ruler, they would say he had no right as only the Ulema can speak, in private of course, with the leaders
When will such people succumb to the truth rather than make unjust excuses…
- Ustadh Abu Ousayd
May Allah allow each and every one of you to experience this kind of companionship. And for those of us who have, I hope you realize what immense blessing this is, Alhamdulillah!
Remember to keep your oppressed brothers and sisters in your dua. Make dua against the tawagheet, munafiqeen and every oppressor. Don’t miss out on this golden opportunity which only comes once a year. May Allah accept from you all.
I know a student, who once told me that women who are not appropriately covered are not a Fitnah for him and he's not attracted to them. But women in complete, full Niqāb, he's attracted to them and they're a Fitnah for him. And I said, why? He said, because that's the type of woman that I want to bring to my house to marry in the future, insha’Allāh.
— Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril حفظه الله
I've heard something similar from the sisters side, where they say that the famous actors and celebrities or the most good-looking male in town isn't a fitnah for them, rather men who are on the right manhaj are - regardless of their looks.
Shaykhul-Islam ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said:
“When the people of falsehood want to arouse doubts about people of haqq, they describe them as khawarij.”
[Majmoo’ Fataawa ibn Taymiyyah (vol. 23, page 325)]
May Allah protect our beloved shaykh from harm and give him a long life full of good deeds.
