STOP BOMBING LEBANON!

Today in Congress, we confronted the House Foreign Affairs Committee staff & members on their complicity in Israel's brutal attacks in Palestine and Lebanon.

The U.S. is supporting Israel's crimes. Arms embargo now!

On Friday, we visited the Lebanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. to say loud and clear that we stand in unwavering solidarity with the people of Lebanon. Since then, the death toll has skyrocketed, with Israel's attacks just today killing 356 people, including many women and children.

While Congress cheers on violence, we remember Lebanon’s history of Israel’s invasions, relentless attacks, and the thousands of civilians injured or killed. The U.S. claims to want to prevent a wider war, yet continues to fuel Israel’s violence. We know better. Our hearts are with you, Lebanon. We love you and we stand with you. ?

Senator Hawley falsely accuses us of taking money from China, but when we confront him about taking money from AIPAC, which is totally true, he calls us anti-Semitic and Holocaust supporters. What about the ongoing Holocaust in Gaza that you’re funding, Sen. Hawley? Shame on you.

UPDATE: Today’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing once again failed to address the alarming rise in violence against Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians in the U.S. While there have been about a dozen congressional hearings on antisemitism in the past year, not one has been dedicated to Islamophobia. Today, in a hearing about hate crimes, it was hardly mentioned.

Congress refuses to admit that their racist rhetoric against Palestinians is inciting violence here in the U.S.

Since October 7, Congress has held about 12 hearings and briefings on antisemitism, but today is the first hearing also addressing anti-Palestinian hate. We’re here to honor Wadea al-Fayoume, a 6-year-old Palestinian American murdered because of the harmful rhetoric spread by elected officials. Misinformation is fueling hate crimes, and we must stand against it.

Even a child could connect the dots: Don Bacon receives $800,000+ from the pro-Israel lobby and over half a million dollars from the arms industry.

No wonder he’s silent when asked about the children of Gaza.
