Abu Malik Telli: 5 Reasons NOT to Open a Crossing with Assad Regime

1⃣ Political Impact: It would openly recognize the Assad regime's lost legitimacy, sidelining existing governments. This would lead the regime to challenge them politically. Supporting countries would back agreements they've been striving for.

2⃣ Humanitarian Concerns: It would let the criminal Assad regime to control aid meant for the liberated areas. They would use border openings temporarily to pressure people to return to regime-controlled zones. People who suffered from starvation in Madaya, chemical attacks in Ghouta, and betrayal in Sheikhun would face harsh treatment.

3⃣ Security Issues: Opening borders would increase security risks in liberated areas. Without clear rules to vet people coming from regime areas, many suspicious individuals have recently arrived, some taking up sensitive roles.

4⃣ Psychological Impact: People would lose hope of returning to their homes, weakening their resolve to defend their beliefs, honor, and land. Instead of empowering them to reclaim their communities, boundaries and agreements would constrain them.

5⃣ Normalization Concerns: Opening borders is the first step toward normalization. It could lead to full trade and security agreements, freeze front lines, and allow unrestricted travel. This could pave the way for Russia to broker a political merger between the regime and opposition, ending the revolution and Syrian resistance efforts.

?Opening borders with the Assad regime would betray the revolutionary cause, the sacrifices of martyrs, and the suffering of prisoners. We rely on God's guidance, and praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all.

A lavish new mall is on …

A lavish new mall is on the brink of opening in Idlib, reflecting Abu Muhammed Jolani's strategy to present Muharar as attractive to the outside world. Despite rising poverty rates due to aid cutbacks amid the Gaza conflict and average daily wages being less than $3, Jolani persists in spending millions of dollars from Muslim public funds on luxurious projects.

OGN revisited a video released by Sheikh Abu Ashida, where he addressed the crimes and corruption of HTS. This video led to his arrest, though he was later released.

In the video, he briefly mentions how his family was treated when they tried to visit him. One noteworthy point was his observation that mothers and their children were imprisoned near his cell.

Why do we highlight this?

Sheikh Abu Shuaib Masri, recently released from prison, sent Eid greetings, including a special message to a child whom he had come to know during their time in detention together.

You can find the statement in our previous posts, which we have translated.
