The food thing excites me the most. I love how every one brings a different essence to their meal. There is such healing medicine in consciously prepared food ?

I'm moving through so many emotional layers the past few days. I'm deeply touched to receive such love, kindness and care from my family and community.

Opening up to receive support from the community has been a huge thing for me, as I tend to be quite self sufficient and will quietly deal with my stuff, but this is a whole other level of opening to receive.

My heart keeps cracking open, healing tears are flowing...

And I'm so excited I can hear raindrops on the verandah as I'm on the daybed.

In the wake of this tragic loss the family are grieving, and are needing support. We can ease the burden by supporting them financially so they do not need to worry about the mounting bills, the funeral expenses, and so much more.

Friends, I have just read Avalon's story and I'm moved to write in support of her. Avalon has been at the forefront of the TAP group from the beginning helping to guide the group in its decision making and planning. She has given of herself unselfishly in what ever task was at hand and was always the first to put her hand up for any chore. No matter what was needed, be it cleaning houses, delivering, food and equipment to flood ravished areas. She was an ear for those who needed emotional support during the tough times of the mandates and lockdowns and helped many to survive the tough times. I'm surprised she lasted as long as she did and kept going where others might have fallen. However inevitably the heavy load became too much and now she needs our help. I know we are all doing it tough at present but every little bit helps and we need to get her through this. Please do whatever you can.

As many of you are likely to be aware Avalon has had serious health challenges this year. This has come with significant financial challenges in supporting Avalon's health. Avalon for longer than I have known her has strongly supported community solutions and while vulnerable we are really needing to reach out for your support. 
Avalon is still needing deep rest, I don't want to overwhelm her with messages and questions.  If you want to leave supportive comments below she will get to see them. We are not looking for advice and we will reach out if we need.
