Maryam bint ‘Abdul Qadir (رحمه الله علها) was a copywriter.

Women would work alongside men to scribe religious books and the Quran. (please take note that this does not mean free mixing, it means doing the same work as men in terms of scribing religious knowledge)

She is said to be one of the women scholars of the 6th Century after Hijri.

She worked on the copywriting of an Arabic dictionary.

“At the end of the work a poignant phrase was written.”

Maryam bint ‘Abdul Qadir (رحمه الله علها) said:

“Please forgive me if you find a mistake in this book, because when I was writing with my right hand I was rocking my son to sleep with my left"

Some women were known to prolong their prayer at night. When asked why, one of them replied,

"It beautifies the face and I love to beautify mine."

Muslim women really need to understand what it means to appear infront of the whole world on videos & shorts. Its been like, i wear a hijab and i do what i like on the internet.

Also, cringy muslim couples! If you're wearing a hijab or appearing with your dayyooth husband in videos doesen't mean it doesen't count as tabarruj (wanton display).

Infact it is worse than tabarruj of jahiliyyah since at those times a women displaying herself was seen by only few men of her locality but now muslimahs are showing themselves up to the entire world !!Astaghfirullah.

The most disturbing part is that they think its not even a sin as long as they are covered in hijab & who even cares about the niqab because there is a supposedly a valid difference of opinion surrounding it.

Laa hawla walaa quwwata illa billah.

Muslim sisters, please fear Allah !! And do not fool yourself and remember that Hellfire would be brimming with such women as informed by Rasoolullah صلى الله عليه وسلم.

قال الشيخ الفوزان حفظه الله:

"ليست العبرة بأن تتزوج بل العبرة بمن تتزوّج ممن تعتز بدينها وسنة نبيها واقعية قنوعة منوعة عن البدع"

Shaykh al-Fawzan حفظه الله said:

“The issue is not whether you merely get married, but rather the issue is _whom_ you marry, someone who cherishes and takes pride in her religion and in the Sunnah of her Prophet, is realistic, content, and avoids innovations.”

As a life partner, you should be someone who considers not just yourself and this world, but also your companion and the hereafter.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘May Allah have mercy on a man who gets up at night and prays, and wakes his wife, and she prays; and if she refuses he sprinkles water in her face.

And May Allah have mercy on a woman who gets up at night and prays, and wakes her husband and he prays; and if he refuses, she sprinkles water in his face.’”
