آسمان بنفش بود، همرنگ اقاقیا. لابه‌لای ابرهای سیاه و خرده شاخه‌ها. زانوهایم را در آغوش گرفتم و در یقه‌ی گشادم دمیدم تا شاید گرمای ناچیزی به سرانگشتانم سرایت کند. از یک قطب درد و رنج بودم از دیگری، حیرت و بهت. چه بر سرم آمد؟ کجایی تا از کابوس مریض روزگارم بگویمت؟ پشت پلک‌هایم را حس نمی‌کنم، همان نقطه‌ی بوسیدنی که مدام لب‌هایت را برش می‌کوبیدی. صورتم هم شاید کبود شده، همچون آسمانی که تنها شاهدم است حالا. کم‌کمک به خواب می‌روم، آهسته و بی‌خبر. البته که با جهش گربه‌ای از سرای دوم به پایین پرت می‌شوم؛ یا با قدم‌های پیرمردی که نان داغ خریده و به خانه می‌رود.
خود را بین دو تکه سنگ یخ‌زده جای داده‌ام و در دل کوچکم دعا می‌کنم که ظاهر شوی، از هر ناکجایی و من، چون کودکی گمگشته، سر بر آورم و خود را در آغوشت بندازم. گویا که نجات یافته‌ام از ساحره‌های منفور شب هنگام. اما نیافتم. دقایقی چند، قبل از اینکه خود را به سایه‌ی گرم و آشنایت برسانم، مردی زورگو در قاب تار چشمانم احضار شد. تو نبودی. مردی بدعنق و پر از دروغ بود، با امیالی نه خیلی پنهان. کاش جیغی سر می‌دادم یا بر سرش فریاد می‌کشیدم و می‌گفتم هرّی! اما گنجشک‌های وحشت‌زده بر سر مرگشان هم بحث نمی‌کنند. چه بسا داد و قال. چه بسا جنگ. شاید برای لحظه‌ای کمتر، مردن را خواستم؛ بیش از شب منجمدی که تو را با خود نداشت. سوار ماشین آهنین و غریبه شدم و زار زدم “من رو کجا می‌برین؟”

تمام عمرم منتظر یه چیزی بودم که هیچ ایده‌ای ندارم چیه.

Being a woman is a kind of spell, akin to the werewolf’s curse. It renders you stronger, yet simultaneously, it can be your Achilles’ heel. It incites anger within you, as society incessantly provides myriad reasons for you to get angry. Your essence must remain tender and steeped in emotions, and the more you bow before men under the guise of being delicate, fragile, and pitiable, the more they favor you. This favor stems from the ease with which they can underestimate and exploit you, or at the very least, assert their superiority by diminishing you. When you need them, you are epitomizing womanhood. However, upon achieving success and self-creation, their demeanor sours, and perhaps some of the more enlightened among them might compliment you by saying you are quite the man.
Our society, the logic we adhere to, is patriarchal; its politics, economy, and entertainments are all centred around masculinity. Even its language and literature bear the stamp of male dominance. I often long to visit a parallel universe where the primary sex is female. A world where history is narrated through a feminine lens, where the value of eyes surpasses that of the vagina, and the worth of gazes transcends mere sexuality.
Let us speak candidly: the rights women have gained in the past century have merely been begrudging alms. There is an Egyptian radical feminist, Nawal El Saadawi, who asserts that for the Third World to achieve meaningful and lasting change, it requires two revolutions. One must be a joint uprising of women and men against an incompetent and despotic regime, and the other, a rebellion of those same women against the men who fought alongside them, to secure equal rights, especially the right to ownership of their own bodies.

هفته پیش پنج‌تا بچه‌ گربه پیدا کردیم که چشماشون تو وضعیت خیلی افتضاحی بودن (اگه درمان نشن ممکنه بعضیاشون هردوتا چشمشون کور و تخلیه بشن) این نینی‌ها سه روز با داروی ایرانی دوره درمان داشتن که نه تنها با داروی ایرانی بهتر نشدن بلکه بدتر هم شدن
الان بعد از اینکه یک متخصص چشم، چشماشون رو معاینه کرده تشخیص دادن که حتما باید قطره‌هاشون المانی باشن و به فاصله دو ساعت بریزیم تو چشمشون
هر کدوم از این قطره‌ها تا جایی که من تونستم پیدا کنم (چون خیلی کم‌یاب هستن) قیمتشون یه چیزی حدود ۵۰۰-۷۰۰ بوده و فقط یک روز رو جواب میده (چون برای پنج‌تاشون ۱۲ بار در روز باید استفاده بشه) واسه همین از نظر هزینه‌ها خیلی توی فشار هستم اگه کسی خواست کمک کنه حتی در حد خیلی خیلی کوچولو هم باشه من خیلی ممنون میشم.
