People love you in different ways, the Arabic man or the Middle Eastern man, in particular. We usually service love, like "I will fix your car," "I'll take you to the airport," "I'll check your lights," "I'll cook something for you" ..or some other sort of things just like these and that's how our men usually show love. They don't do it so much with words or with a hug or with a touch, but it's more like service. But the point is not everybody can understand that. Instead, they say "Haa, my father or my brother or my husband, they don't love me." No, He does. He really does, but his language is different.

When explaining the word paradox to my students, I often use quite an interesting example of a paradox called Liar’s Paradox. Here is how it goes:

If I tell you that I am a liar, do you believe me?
If you do, why do you even believe me when you are confirming that I am liar?
If you don’t, why don’t you believe me if you are confirming that I am not a liar?
