Abdallah bin Muslim bin Yasaar -may Allah have mercy on him- reported that his father said:
“When you want to say something on behalf of Allah (ie: to explain a part of the Qur'an), hold off until you have looked at what precedes it and what follows it.”

Abu Bakrah -may Allah be pleased with him- reported that the Messenger ﷺ said:

“When two Muslims fight each other with their swords, both the murderer and the murdered shall enter the fire.”

It was asked: “ O Messenger of Allahﷺ , I can understand this in regard to the murderer, but what about the murdered?”

He repliedﷺ: “He hoped to kill his companion.”

Muhammad al-Amin as-Shinqiti -may Allah have mercy on him- stated:

And some of the scholars of tafsir mentioned the story that when (Ibrahim alayhi al-salam) was placed where the fire was to be set, the angel Jibril came to him and asked:

“Do you need anything from me (ie: for help)?”
