I saw some of my friends and mutuals write their summer results, and I thought I'd also share my achievements!

this summer didn’t go as planned because of some issues (including my health), which kept me from travelling abroad, but I still made the most of it and created some unforgettable memories!

— I became more social, stopped self-isolating, and started going out often with friends. I got invited to concerts, festivals, and parties and made amazing memories!
— I attended a summer school at the top university in Ireland, specialising in computer science. not only did I learn a lot, but I also made new long-lasting friendships.
— I made even more friends, both in-person and online. some of them are from my motherland, and they're now my dearest and closest friends!
— I got a work placement at one of the world's leading tech companies. it was an incredible experience for me since I really want to work in the computer science field.
— I earned a few more certificates in computer science. now my wall is decorated with my such achievements (seriously, tho, I barely have space on the wall).
— despite a tough depressive episode, I took my first step towards healing and attended consultation at the psychiatrists. I'm one more step closer to something I desired the most:
— I've been working on myself a lot (which is one of the reasons why I may have disappeared from everywhere), dealing with my past traumas, improving myself and my mental health. it's a bit challenging, but I'm definitely making some progress!
— I've reconnected with my old hobbies. despite giving up on art a few years back due to a very specific event, I’ve started reconnecting with it as part of my healing journey. now I'm doing digital art, and I seem to be in peace with myself.
— I've been enjoying writing code and essays about significant historical events (like Chernobyl) in my free time. I combined two of my favourite things: learning and creativity!
— I went out a LOT. be it just a meet-up with friends over a cup of coffee, checking out a new antique shop with my friends, conventions, or attending museums, cinemas, and theatres.
— My wall is not only full of my certificates, but also with pictures of my friends and I together. most of them were taken at the photo booth or with a Polaroid, hence why so many physical copies of the photos.

I think my summer was amazing, despite not being able to visit foreign countries and etc. some may call my summer boring since I spent so much time studying, attending courses, and summer schools, but I strongly disagree with such people. I'm proud of how much I did and how far I've come.

not only that, but it's also my last summer as an adolescent; next year, I'll be turning 18 and will have my first ever summer as an adult.
