Let me provide you with the very good news that after several setbacks, like a week ago, she is now doing much better. Above all eating with appetite. Her companion Winston who also had to be operated due to an infection is with her in the house of Julia from St Petersburg Boxer Help

They are very grateful to their saviour and so am I
It was Julia who recommended the veterinary clinic,
It was Julia who organised the dogs who donated blood
And it was Julia who took both of them to her Boxer family so they could recover

Both dogs mean a lot to me, they have been with me through all these tough times of moves and new starts, I watched the scorpions in Lebanon but I underestimated the ticks in Russia
Very grateful Jackie survived thanks to the excellent Russian veterinarians.
We will now be more attentive than we already were to protect ourselves against ticks.
For me it is a miracle that Jackie is the old one, though much slimmer

An excellent analytical summary by Pepe Escobar of the Eurasia BRICS panel last Thursday at the SPIEF which I attended. My key message there was, that NATO had suffered its big defeat on Aug. 15th 2021 in Afghanistan. They did not learn any lessons and rushed into the next battlefield in Ukraine as of Oct. 2021.
Russia will not be defeated neither by sanctions nor in the battlefield. So how will NATO tackle its next humilation….
