With the recent release of Whitewallet, the old Whitechain Wallet will no longer be supported. If you use the old wallet, migrate your assets to Whitewallet before March 3 or they will be burned.

To complete the migration with ease, go to Whitewallet, create a new wallet, and your assets will be transferred automatically.

We are happy to announce that Cepheus Hardfork has successfully taken place on Whitechain Mainnet at block #22982391.

With this protocol upgrade, Whitechain now introduces the PUSH0 opcode support, improving gas efficiency for smart contracts and reducing bytecode size. This contributes to lower transaction costs, and a better development experience for builders on Whitechain.

We are excited to announce the upcoming Whitechain protocol upgrade.

The upgrade is first scheduled to take place on Testnet at block #28069512 (estimated for January 9, 2025, at 10:00 UTC).

The name for the upgrade is Cepheus, to continue with the theme of our previous Cassiopeia hardfork. The purpose of the hardfork is PUSH0 opcode support.

All testnet node operators should update their nodes before this time. It doesn't affect Whitechain mainnet, however this hardfork will be also rolled out in mainnet soon (in release v1.2.0).
