Charlotte Cargin - The Healing - May 28th - Tuatha Dé Danann.
Croí
Charlotte will speak on how The Tuatha Dé Danann have left us clues around this land to help remind us of who we really are in this great treasure hunt we are each on to find our way home to the heart and great body of Love. She feels them beyond the physical and as we all move beyond it back to heart, communication opens up with them as the veil becomes finer in lessening density. They are helping us. Spending time at the sacred sites, the sacred monuments they built, which are marking out the vibrational web, the dance of the moon and sun and divine masculine and feminine and illustrating the divine laws of life, we are helped to remember. She’ll speak on these.
We are on the heart chakra in Éire of the great body. Blessed we are to be. As we clear and elevate the heart, we elevate the whole. It’s all microcosms of macrocosms. Each of us is playing a vital part and is a part of the great healing and the expansion of consciousness of the one great body. Gathering in Cork for the forthcoming Tuatha Dé Danann weekend, around the arts, expressions of hearts, with our open healing hearts and connecting in that heart space will be powerful. Love. Gra. Croí. Solas
Charlotte's early background:
Charlotte lives in beautiful Kinsale, Co. Cork, by a sacred well and an ancient tree, on the ark-angel Michael ley line which runs from Skellig Michael through Cork, in a home which has been lived and loved in by four generations of her family.
She spent childhood years living in the wilds of Africa, roaming barefoot in connection with nature, shamans and tribe, observing true community and accepted in to it, learning plant medicine and present at deaths and births of the tribe from an early age. Fortunately connection to the interconnectedness and sacredness of all, which we all enter life with, was nurtured and largely un-severed and the knowledge too that there is no death or separation and that it is only in our minds that we experience that, in the disconnect from heart and the great heart.
She was stunned being put into the schooling system and boarding school at that, at the age of ten upon her families move to the UK and was gently asked to leave each school she attended and there were many, for questioning each teacher and the teachings and for not being able or willing to conform.
Upon leaving school, with great relief and gratitude for its insights to the mind matrix, she craved that re connection to the wild heart and sailed oceans on a beautiful wooden boat called “Sincerity” for a few months and then hitch hiked through Europe with no money or plan, allowing the magic flow and daily guidance to carry and guide her in a great exploration. She then drove through India on an epic road trip on an old motor bike and lived in community there for two years. She attended art college in London to harness and explore her creativity and then returned to her beloved home land of eire.
Having lived in a city for four years, she immersed herself completely in nature for a year upon graduation, restoring the beautiful garden her grandfather had planted in her family home, clearing it’s sacred well and connecting once again, deeply to nature, to her heart, to spirit and the great heart and to the land of eire, the heart chakra of this realm.
Charlotte's journey and coming home to the Heart:
Upon conceiving her first child, she set up a a tailoring and design business to support her family, called “Charlotte and Jane” in Cork, working with woolen mills and designing Irish tweeds and training tailors to work in what became a very successful heart based business, which she ran with Jane for 12 years. The crafts of creating textiles, working with Irish woolen mills, tailoring and design stimulated her crea…
Tuatha Dé Danann - The Shadow - Tina Noonan.
Tina Noonan is an Irish playwright, based in Wicklow Town. Tina is launching her latest play ' The Island ' at the Tuatha Dè Danann festival on May 28th.
The Island’ –Four Dublin school friends, (late 50’s), gather around a minimalist, modern kitchen island to celebrate a win over a rival rugby school, 45 years later.
However, the news of an estranged school pal ‘Gonzo’, washed up, drowned on a Thai Island, leads all of them to reminisce back to their school days, piecing together ‘Gonzo’s’ school glories and his demise which is the catalyst for each of the four friends to unearth dark secrets, kept from each other for 45 years.
Her first stage play, ‘The Prodger’ premiered in The New Theatre, Dublin, in February 2013 and went on to be performed as part of Northern Ireland’s WW1 Centenary commemorations, from Magilligan Prison, Derry, to City Hall, Belfast, 2016. Her second stage play, ‘The 3 Kings (Na Trí Rithe)’ premiered at the late Karl Shiels, Theatre Upstairs, Dublin, in February 2014. Tina’s first commissioned play was “Glimpses of High Society “ written for S.T.A.G (Southside Travellers Action Group) and performed by Traveller women at the Lexicon Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, October 2019. Following on from this, Tina was selected by the Abbey 5 x 5 220 to devise a stage play with Direct Provision Residents. ‘The Linen Room’ was performed at The Peacock Theatre, in February 2020. A second project involving Direct Provision Residents was a short film ‘Under Surveillance’ written and directed by Tina and funded by Wicklow Arts Council and Create Ireland. It was screened at the Mermaid Theatre, in December 2021 and the Lexicon Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, May 2022.
Tina’s screenplay ‘Broken’ was a finalist in The Kerry International Film Festival 2021. Her screenplay ‘The Golden Nugget’ was a finalist in The Waterford International Film Festival 2022. Her first radio play ‘Leonie Summers’ was shortlisted for the P J O’Connor Award 2007.
