Der Film wird in Originalversion mit englischen Untertiteln gezeigt. Das Gespräch wird vorrangig in deutscher Sprache stattfinden.

The last left-wing autonomous housing projects are to be dissolved and their residents are to be forced out of the city. Rigaer Straße, Liebigstraße, the Tuntenhaus, Potse, Drugstore, Syndikat, Meuterei, the Köpi - all under pressure. "Berlin Utopiekadaver" shows different generations of a subculture telling stories about their lives, fighting for their existence, but also dancing and crying together.

The film shows the struggle for left-wing autonomous places in the gentrification-driven city of Berlin uncommented. Together with them, we go to gatherings, concerts, demonstrations, KüFas (kitchen for all) and through their private and professional lives. Again and again a loud voice sounds from the megaphone and declares war on the city of the rich.

After the movie, we will have a conversation with all the people present and director Johannes Blume. There will be snacks and drinks on the spot. The film will be shown in the original version with English subtitles. The discussion will mainly be held in German.
