Perhaps people who come on holiday to London should demand a refund as they didn’t see any English people.

I realise I haven’t actually put up a post about this, I just replied to somebody in the comments on my channel, so here’s the current situation for anybody who’s interested:

? Sam is due to be released from prison in a few weeks but he won’t be allowed to return home for “at least six months”, potentially up to 12 months.

? He will have to stay at a premises of their choice so that they can monitor him closely because they believe there’s such a high risk of “serious harm”.

? He has to check in there every evening and he can check out on a morning. He can leave through the day and go where he pleases, and his location will be monitored with a GPS tag. He has to check in at the premises every day at midday to ensure he doesn’t travel too far.

? Sam also has other licence conditions that he must stick to for the remainder of his two year sentence. I’ll share them when we get them in writing so that friends and colleagues know what he can and can’t do.

? The most important thing to Sam is his family and this licence condition is particularly harsh as it stops him from doing things like bath time/bedtime story time/putting his children to bed, but at least he can now see them every day, so we are looking forward to that. We can’t really go on day trips because of the midday check in but at least he can begin to build a bond with his baby, and he can see his toddler every day.

? If Sam breaks his licence conditions he will be returned to prison. Once Sam’s two year sentence is over (1st March 2026), he is a free man and he can do whatever he pleases.
