*Given in the table is a comparison of annual milk production figures in four countries at three 10-year points beginning in 1990. The data reveals that both Netherlands and Australia produced considerably higher amounts of milk, compared to the latter two, on each point. The difference though was that over the given period the first-ranked Netherlands saw an overall growth as contrasted with Australia, which saw a steady decrease in its figures. Tanzania and the lowest-ranked Guatemala, meanwhile, produced milk in much lower amounts annually, but grew consistently over time.
Netherlands produced over 11,260,000 litres of milk annually in 1990: a figure which declined rather slightly in the following ten-year interval (11,155,000 litres) before recovering noticeably to attain nearly 11,470,000 litres after ten years. Initially, Australia followed closely, with close to 11,250,000 litres of milk, but saw a consistent decline in its figure over the period given. This country was noticeable, especially, on the last point, registering a decline of almost whopping 2 million litres.
The figures in the latter two countries were considerably lower on each point: Tanzania began with less than 90,000 litres of annual milk production, which grew steadily in the following two decades, reaching 155,000 litres by the end. Guatemala, meanwhile, produced 26,000 litres of milk in the first year, and showed roughly two and three times higher figures on the following two intervals respectively.
