The multimedia and mirroring apps are back online since yesterday with a new method of installation for recent updates. No need of updating AAAD, just re-installing the apps.

Google is at it again and since a couple of hours it's banning multimedia and mirroring apps coming from AAAD.

We are monitoring the problem to evaluate the best solution. Ideally, the apps inside AAAD must be updated in order for this issue to be solved. AAAD is ready once the update of the apps will be available.

New Fermata Auto's update Is available on AAAD. Google's lockdown is fixed. Hopefully for a long time ?

It appears that Google wants to kill Fermata Auto on Android Auto. Apparently new version 7.1 has just Fermata Auto on the blacklist, while all the other apps are fine. Rolling back Android Auto to an older version is the solution for now.

As for AAAD, a new update is on the way. I’ve been dealing with some personal and burocracy problems and have been very busy overall. Next update will fix the major issues AAAD has had in the past weeks and it will have 2 new apps and more languages. Later on a new version will arrive with a major redesigns and exclusive contents for PRO users.

It has come to my attention that version 6.6 of Android Auto (available here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/android-auto/android-auto-6-6-6125-release/) actually supports AAAD apps on Android 11. I really don’t know why Google decided to ease its blocking measures against AAAD with version 6.6, but hopefully this will be the sweet spot for anyone dancing around with older version of AA.
