The Super Earth

The Super Earth

KOI-5715.01 is an exoplanet candidate that orbits the K-type dwarf star KOI-5715, located approximately 2,964 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Cygnus. It was identified in 2015 through an analysis of light curve data obtained by the Kepler space telescope. While the exoplanet is yet to be confirmed, preliminary data suggests that it is one of the more promising superhabitable planet candidates. In April 2015, KOI-5715.01 was included in a published catalog of candidate planets identified by the Kepler space telescope but was initially classified as a false positive. Following this, a 2016 study of transit-timing events from over 2,500 Kepler objects of interest (KOIs) re-identified KOI-5715.01 as a potential exoplanet.

With an mass of almost 15 times that of the Earth, this planet is probably the most habitable planet ever discovered by humans so far.

Older than the Universe ?

Older than the Universe ?

HD 140283, also known as the Methuselah star, resides in the constellation Libra, approximately 200 light years away from Earth. This metal-poor subgiant has intrigued astronomers for its remarkable age—it’s one of the oldest stars known. With an estimated age of 14.46 ± 0.8 billion years, HD 140283 appears even older than the universe itself! Its apparent magnitude of 7.205 allows it to be observed with binoculars. Interestingly, HD 140283’s light is blueshifted, indicating that it’s moving toward us. This ancient star has been a celestial companion for over a century, captivating scientists with its intriguing properties. It’s like a cosmic time traveler, offering glimpses into the distant past when the Milky Way was still taking shape

Although it's just a star, the theory that surrounds it is more interesting than anything. It suggests that we might actually not know how old our universe is or tha fact that there could be many other universes suggesting the theory of multiverse.

Pale Blue Dot

Pale Blue Dot

Pale Blue Dot is a photograph of Earth taken on February 14, 1990, by the Voyager 1 space probe from an unprecedented distance of approximately 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles, 40.5 AU), as part of that day's Family Portrait series of images of the Solar System. Also known as the last photograph of Earth taken by the Voyager 1. In the photo Earth looks like a small dot the size of a pixel, but it is home to everything and everyone we will ever see in our life time.

Five planets in our solar system …

Five planets in our solar system are visible from Earth without a telescope: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. But this year Six planets will align in the sky on June 3rd. You can see Uranus using a telescope which was not possible before. So you can go to a dark place with less city light to watch all the 5 planets of our home system.

Solar Sails

Solar Sails

Solar sails (also known as lightsails, light sails) are a method of spacecraft propulsion using radiation pressure exerted by sunlight on large surfaces. A number of spaceflight missions to test solar propulsion and navigation have been proposed since the 1980s. The first spacecraft to make use of the technology was IKAROS, launched in 2010.A useful analogy to solar sailing may be a sailing boat; the light exerting a force on the large surface is akin to a sail being blown by the wind. High-energy laser beams could be used as an alternative light source to exert much greater force than would be possible using sunlight, a concept known as beam sailing. Solar sail craft offer the possibility of low-cost operations combined with high speeds (relative to chemical rockets) and long operating lifetimes. Since they have few moving parts and use no propellant, they can potentially be used numerous times for the delivery of payloads.

Universe 25 Experiment

Universe 25 Experiment

"Behavioral sink" is a term invented by ethologist John B. Calhoun to describe a collapse in behavior that can result from overpopulation. The term and concept derive from a series of over-population experiments Calhoun conducted on Norway rats between 1958 and 1962.[1] In the experiments, Calhoun and his researchers created a series of "rat utopias" – enclosed spaces where rats were given unlimited access to food and water, enabling unfettered population growth.

***Black Hole Multiverse***

Black Hole Multiverse
Imagine a cosmic zoo where black holes might harbor entire universes within them, each with its own distinct laws of physics. This speculative concept arises from the idea that within a black hole's event horizon, space and time warp so drastically that new universes could potentially form. Dubbed the "black hole multiverse," this theory challenges conventional notions of space, time, and the universe's fundamental nature. While purely theoretical at this point, it sparks wild speculation and intense debate among physicists, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the bizarre possibilities of our cosmos.

**véjà du**

véjà du

If déjà vu is the process by which something strange becomes, abruptly and surprisingly familiar, véjà du is the very opposite. It is the seeing of a familiar situation with “fresh eyes,” as if you have never seen it before. So if déjà vu is about making the strange look familiar, véjà du is all about making the familiar look strange!

Phoenix A is the biggest black …

Phoenix A is the biggest black hole ever discovered. The black hole was initially detected in 2010. it’s located in the Phoenix Cluster 8,500,000,000 light years away. It's size is approximately 100,000,000,000 solar masses + with the Schwarzschild diameter of 590.5 billion kilometers, it dethroned TON-618 by a staggering 34 billion solar masses (One solar mass is equal to the mass of a single sun). There is no definite answer to this, though it probably formed around 10-100 million years after the big bang. The type of black hole Phoenix A is, is a Stupendously Large Black Hole (SLaBs) it's name is actually underestimating it.
