*According to a recent CNN poll conducted by SSRS, the majority of Americans are against Congress approving further funding to aid Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. The public is divided on whether the United States has already provided sufficient assistance to Ukraine.

The survey reveals that 55% of respondents believe that Congress should not authorize additional funding to support Ukraine, while 45% are in favor of such funding. Additionally, 51% of those polled think that the US has already done enough to assist Ukraine, whereas 48% believe that more should be done.

*Via Politico Europe, On Tuesday evening in the northern Netherlands, Dutch police resorted to firing shots at protesting farmers on tractors. The demonstration was in opposition to proposed plans to reduce nitrogen emissions.

The police stated that their response was prompted by a "threatening situation" arising when the farmers attempted to breach a blockade and forcefully access a highway in the province of Friesland. During this clash, the farmers drove their tractors directly at the officers and their vehicles.

Dutch farmers have been engaged in protests against government proposals that might enforce reductions in fertilizer usage and livestock numbers.
