'A white tulip, but not me'

*She's the white tulip,
In a garden of crimson roses,
A porcelain blossom, delicate and rare,
A whisper of white, amidst a sea of bold.

It lingers, a silent promise,
As if meant to bloom forever,
In the season of love,
Where dreams weave ethereal stories.

But dreams fade, like morning mist,
Leaving echoes of sweet, bitter memories.
And though my soul yearns for that grace,
It's gone, and I want it to stay that way

This poem, for no one, and for everyone,
Is simply a story of a white tulip's bloom,
Fleeting beauty that haunts my heart,
And not me.*
