Google's New Android 13+ Security Changes
Android 13 and later versions are making a big change to how security works. The focus is now on hardware security, meaning your phone needs specific built-in security features to meet the new minimum standards. This is a shift away from software-based checks for things like rooting or tampering. Now, Android primarily checks your system version, security patch level, and trusted root status.
It means -
• Older phones might be left behind:
If your phone lacks the necessary hardware, it might not meet the minimum security requirements.
• Keeping up with updates is crucial:
Strong security now requires yearly updates. Failing to update your phone leaves it useless.
• Large\-Scale Key Usage Detection:
Large-scale use of authentication keys is automatically flagged via the new keybox and Play Integrity's self-reporting mechanism. [Source]

Shadow Kernel Versioning Explained:
• Each Shadow Kernel release comes with a codename, which will be updated whenever the leading number in the version changes (e.g., 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, etc.).
• Every update will change the last number in the version (e.g., 1.1, 1.2, etc.), and this update is marked as the final version.
• The "rv" in the version number indicates experimental changes or minor updates from the previous version, usually aimed at fixing issues from earlier versions but still in "beta build". This version also serves as an initial stage before the final version, and you could say this build is a beta build.
One of the reasons I rarely update the kernel is because the compilation time is very long.
It takes about 25 minutes or longer to compile a single kernel, and that's not even considering potential bugs or boot failures.
Because I also compile the kernel with lower specs (1C/8GB), so it takes a lot longer.
