A friendly reminder to spread to others:

Settings > Privacy and Security > Invites
(On PC it may say Groups & Channels)

Set who can invite you to groups to "My Contacts" or "Nobody".

Once again there are people running around inviting others to... Inappropriate groups. Not the kind you want to be a part of...

If you have friends who recently joined telegram, just give them a friendly nudge to enable this setting.

I am so tired of CrowdStrike right now. It's been 3 days of remediation at this point. Walking non-tech users through going into recovery mode, accessing command prompt, doing bitlocker recovery, passing a temporary local admin account / password, walking through how to delete the file, etc etc etc.... all over a phone (can't see the mistakes they make)... This is exhausting.

Was having issues with a software install on my new work laptop.
Open a ticket. It gets escalated to a specific person (hey, always make friends with the managers / directors of other teams!)
We start a call to work this out, because apparently what I'm requesting is no longer allowed. Get to talking. OH SHIT WE'RE BOTH STAR WARS NERDS.
1.5 hours later steam friends and making plans and discussing Acolyte. oops.
