Altogether 12 entire countries in East Africa are now suffering severe internet outage. They can only access websites that have local servers. All access European hosted websites - including bank websites, and including howbad.info is blocked.

The reason for the reduced internet is cutting and damage to telecoms cables under the sea, and damage to cables between East Africa and Europe, between Asia and East Africa and between East Africa and South Africa.

The damage has all occurred in 1 month.

It has prevented any transfers of money from UK to East Africa or vica versa. As a result people cannot book hotels through Booking.com, and cant even access Booking.com after they arrive. It will obviously damage trade and commerce.

Last month West Africa also suffered internet shutdown/lockdown.

People working for companies in South Africa by distance have been forced to jump onto planes and go to South Africa to carry on working - its that bad.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING - A SERIES OF LOGICAL DEDUCTIONS

1. The severing of deep sea cables was either an accident or deliberate
2. If it was deliberate we can ask why
3. The only reason to cut the cables would be to prevent sharing of information
4. But sharing of what?
5. The only information they would not want us to share would be if they were harming us.

So I hypothesis that an attack may be imminent. I dont know what or where. However I can make an educated guess.

1. You can only harm a population by either using overt attack, or covert attack
2. Overt attack is too obvious and causes instant pushback
3. Covert attack (i.e. biologics) does not cause pushback
4. A biological or chemical release is therefore a possibility, and could be labelled as a new "pandemic"
5. It would most likely be released in a city for maximum effect

All this is just speculation, but we should consider that the East African countries affected are those that resist the new IHRs proposed by the WHO. And all the member states are expected to arrive at a decision on the IHRs on 26th May at the 77th World Health Conference.

Update : Internet has been partially restored. It turns out that they fixed it WITHOUT fixing the deep sea cables, which makes me wonder if the cables were ever cut in the first place, or di they just switch the telecoms off then back on. Local calls, that should be unaffected by deep sea cable cuts, were also terminated. ...

Hi guys, many cables surrounding Africa have now been cut causing severe internet down time. Three cables were cut in the Red Sea last month. Now further cables have been damaged between Europe and East Africa and between South Africa and East Africa.

West Africa was hit a few months ago.
